WILD 96.3 IN WICHITA FALLS TURNS ITS PLAYLIST OVER TO LISTENERS 24/7 WITH LDR.TAKEOVER

index_header_01Falls Media Group’s KXXN/Wichita Falls is launching a social music revolution, using new technology from LDR Interactive (Listener Driven Radio) to turn their playlist over to the audience around the clock. Using a voting window on the Wild 96.3 website (https://fallspartystation.com), listeners can vote on which songs will play on the station minute-by-minute 24/7.

“Today’s media consumer is in control of their digital world. They want what they want when they want it. 96.3 WILD is boldly embracing what consumers want with LDR Takeover 24/7. With its superior integration and compelling social media interface, LDR will give 96.3 WILD a truly unique point of differentiation,” said Dan Halyburton, VP/Partner of Falls Media Group.

On the station website, listeners can see the song that’s currently playing along with a list of all the songs in the station library. Voting each song up and down live, the audience collectively chooses which song will play next, and the winning song automatically plays in the station’s automation system. Listeners can also discover latest tweets by their favorite artists, and through LDR’s technology, they can get an alert by e-mail/text/tweet when their favorite songs are about to play.

The station will also leverage social media and mobile interaction to drive engagement and listening on the station, using a new mobile app called GRÜVR, which will launch in the coming days.
