If you don’t know Devon Still, he is a defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals. More importantly, he is the father of the five year old girl named Leah, who was in the fight of her life against cancer. He and Leah became a positive face for those that have to deal with the disease as he brought hope to those struggling with the disease by using his platform as an NFL player to share he and his daughter’s experience.
Last night at the ESPY’s Devon Still and Leah were honored with the Jimmy V. Perseverance Award. The award was a nice honor but the speech was everything.
