Beyoncé and her daughters are racking up nominations at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards, highlighting a significant milestone for Rumi.
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter, have received multiple nominations for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The recognition is especially notable for Rumi, who is receiving her first-ever direct award nomination. This year’s event will celebrate the most-played songs and artists featured on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2025, and it’s set to take place live at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 26, airing on Fox.
Beyoncé has been nominated in two categories related to her recent tour, the Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour. The nominated categories include Favorite Tour Style and Favorite Tour Tradition, with both her daughters being recognized alongside her. Eight-year-old Rumi’s nomination marks a significant achievement, as she is included thanks to her contribution to the Grammy-winning project. Blue Ivy, now 14, has also played a vital role during the tour as a lead dancer, showcasing her talent on stage.
The Cowboy Carter tour kicked off on April 28 in Los Angeles and concluded on July 26 in Las Vegas, spanning nine cities across the U.S. and Europe. It has shattered records, becoming the highest-grossing country tour ever, raking in over $400 million. Rumi made headlines at just six years old by becoming the youngest female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to her feature on the song “Protector,” which debuted at No. 42 in April 2024. This achievement surpassed her sister’s previous record set in 2019 with “Brown Skin Girl.”
Beyoncé last attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2024, where she received the Innovator Award from Stevie Wonder. This prestigious honor is bestowed on artists who significantly impact pop culture and the music industry. In her acceptance speech, she reflected on the challenges of being an innovator, emphasizing the importance of embracing art without preconceived notions. Fan voting for the awards is set to begin on January 8 and will close on March 19 at 11:59 p.m. PT, with fans able to cast their votes via iHeartRadio.com/awards.
