South Eastern Music Conference Coming to Charlotte

(Charlotte, NC – December 2015) – R&B Live Television Network (RBTV) presents the South Eastern Music Conference (SEMC) January 15-17, 2015 at the Studio Music Grill, 210 E. Trade St, Charlotte, NC. SEMC is the first “Rhythm and Blues” centered conference in a decade and promises to be an unprecedented industry event.

It is open to R&B and Indie artists from around the country and the globe! The conference will consist of live performances, Artist Showcases, and Workshops. Workshops will be held for participants to gain insight into the hot topics impacting the music industry today.

Attendees will learn how technology is shaping the way music is distributed. Also included are Artist Showcases where artists will perform before their peers and the panel of distinguished industry guests. SEMC provides attendees an opportunity to meet industry music executives, entrepreneurs, songwriters, producers, bloggers, marketing executives, publicists, music artists and more.

J-Stylz (Platinum selling group Blackstreet), BJ Murphy (Radio Personality), Corey Jones, Senior Vice President of Sony Music Entertainment/Provident/Rocket MultiMedia Groups, Kerry Smalls (Marketing Promotions for Compound/Motown Records), Chirl Girl (V101.9 Charlotte Radio Personality),  Noel Gourdin (Soulful R&B Singer), Gary “Lil G” Jenkins (Legendary R&B Singer) and Vinny Brown (Radio Programming Executive/Music Industry Icon) are just a few of the Industry participants at  SEMC. The esteemed panelists and performers are flying in from all over the country and will provide the attendees with insight and information that is almost impossible to get anywhere else.
