This picture came up today (credit to Gregg Diggs) of how Black radio once enjoyed several weekly must-read trade publications spotlighting and showcasing Black industry executives. � Some of the greatest Black industry trades were/are:

  • Jack the Rapper (Granddaddy of all Urban Trades and Music Conferences, unfortunate crash in the early 90s)
  • BRE (still producing)
  • Rhythm and Business Magazine (ceased production)
  • Impact (ceased production)
  • Urban Network (unsure of current production)
  • Radio Facts (converted to a blog in 2003)
