Death Threat Makes Maxine Waters Cancel Events

Maxine Blamed for Lack of “Civility” in Politics? Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) has canceled upcoming appearances in Alabama and Texas because of “a very serious death threat.” The threat follows the back and forth between Waters and President Trump over her call to protesters to confront members of the Trump administration in public over their support for the president’s zero-tolerance policy against immigrants.

Waters attributes the threats and hate responses to President Trump’s response to her on Twitter Monday along with a series of other comments. Some feel there is a double standard when Waters is being accused of lacking civility without considering President Trump’s tweets and attacks. Are they right or wrong?

This issue, of course, is attributed to various members of the Trump administration being confronted by demonstrators and opponents to the immigration policy being asked to leave establishments because of their support. See Trump’s tweet below. Is this a threat or just a response?

Congresswoman Maxine Waters, an extraordinarily low IQ person, has become, together with Nancy Pelosi, the Face of the Democrat Party. She has just called for harm to supporters, of which there are many, of the Make America Great Again movement.

Be careful what you wish for Max! Maxine’s reponse below.

“As the president has continued to lie and falsely claim that I encouraged people to assault his supporters, while also offering a veiled threat that I should ‘be careful,’ even more individuals are leaving messages and sending hostile mail to my office,” Waters said. See Waters’s speech that got the above tweet from President Trump.
