Woman Slaps Spirit Airlines Employee (video)

Spirit is an airline well-known and documented for having many customer complaints and problems, yet it’s also one of the most popular airlines for travelers who want to save money. That combination is not a good one regarding high-stress levels for employees constantly berated by angry travelers. This woman was plain wrong.

Once you put your hands on someone, what do you expect them to do? A Spirit Airlines employee tried to remain calm while a woman yelled and screamed at him and repeatedly pushed him and called him homophobic slurs and other names. A man came up to stand between them when she reached around and slapped the employee.

Perhaps she thought that because he was at work, he would not respond. The employee broke away from the man, grabbed her by her feet, and she faced-planted into the floor. Another man came to her defense after the fact, but what was her defense?

The employee while confrontational did not touch the man who was pressed up against him and also confrontational. The employee has been suspended, and the airline has posted this response…

“We are aware of this altercation. Our vendor at DFW has suspended the agent.

Spirit Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind, and we are working with local law enforcement to investigate this matter.”

There is a good chance that the woman will be charged with assault since she repeatedly assaulted the employee. Most people in the tweet and responses agree that she was at fault.
