Event Overview
iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God announced the return of the Black Effect Podcast Festival, which celebrated, uplifted and amplified Black voices in the podcast industry. The event took place April 25 from noon to 8 p.m. ET at Pullman Yards in Atlanta, Georgia.
Charlamagne Tha God joined the festival alongside some of the Black Effect’s most popular personalities for a full day of live podcast tapings and informative discussions aimed at aspiring podcasters in the Black community.
Hosts and Programming
The festival was hosted by founder Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club with Loren LoRosa, host of The Latest with Loren LoRosa Podcast.
The fourth annual festival featured thought-provoking panel discussions including “AI: The Evolution and The Future,” “The Gen-Z Movement,” an audio and media development panel and more.
The panels featured special guests including Carlos King, host of The Black Effect’s Reality With The King, finance expert Ian Dunlap and others.

The event also featured engaging activities for attendees including the popular “Pitch Your Podcast” booth and The Black Effect Marketplace, which showcased merchandise from Black-owned businesses, local food trucks and more.
