The Rickey Smiley Morning Show discussed what happened after Marlo Hampton’s home was invaded. Four suspects were arrested yesterday after the reported invasion of the Georgia home of the Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton. According to WSB-TV, she revealed that she was home with her nephews when she heard a noise.
She explained when the boom was heard, her nephew screamed, and the reality show star knew that was the sound of fear. Her heart dropped. The noise heard was a suspect kicking in the door.
Hampton said the suspects may have fled the scene when she started yelling and screaming.
“I just thank God that we’re covered in the blood of Jesus, and I’m here to share the story with you. But my main concern is, I want all the ladies; I want everyone to be aware. If you are posting, if you have luxury items be careful,” she said.
The Sandy Springs Police Department was able to catch the suspects as they attempted a home invasion in a townhouse occupied by the mother of famed rapper Future’s children. All four suspected gang members were taken into custody on suspicion of being responsible for a string of robberies. The alleged gang reportedly followed high-profile entertainment, sports, or social media figures.
Rickey Smiley said he used to live in a townhouse in Santa springs. Smiley said he was paranoid, and he did not want to let anyone see him coming or going. The morning show host said “flashing” is not a good idea, and people should not let everyone know what they have.
Da Brat said she was upset by the robbery because people work hard for their belongings. “it’s so stupid and disrespectful,” she said.
“I’d rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6,” said Smiley. “Cause I’ll tell you what, my kids ain’t gonna sit on the front row, and I’ll go to jail. I’ll go to jail or hell, I promise you, man, I’m a gunshot victim, and I’m angry, I’m angry, and I don’t feel safe. And if you mess with me or if you mess with one of mine, i’ma blow your brains out, and I mean it from my heart.
I don’t care who get mad about what I said because it don’t make no sense.”
