Social media was not happy with Insecure’s Jay Ellis marrying a white woman and expressed it in the comments that were so bad, that he had to turn the comments off. Ebro and the team express how the audience never forgets your character on a TV show and how fans were still mad at Ellis when his character on Insecure had a baby with another woman (outside of Issa Rae’s character) and then when he announced his marriage to a white woman off screen all hell broke loose.
