Sophia Sansone’s Ascent in Nashville’s Music Industry

Sophia Sansone has quickly established herself as a prominent figure in Nashville’s music industry, currently serving as a Managing Partner at Make Wake Artists. Since joining the company in 2017 as an assistant to founder Chris Kappy, she has demonstrated exceptional strategic skills and a strong dedication to artist advocacy, contributing to long-term career development for her clients.

Sansone has been instrumental in the management of Luke Combs, particularly during a period marked by significant growth and success in his career. In addition to her work with Combs, she manages Nicole Combs and has recently taken on the Grammy Award-winning group The Band Perry, facilitating their much-anticipated return to the country music scene while respecting their legacy.

A Vanderbilt University graduate, Sansone attributes her leadership style to her upbringing in a large family, which has instilled in her a collaborative and adaptive approach to her work. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized through multiple accolades, including placements on Billboard’s Women in Music and Country Power Players lists, as well as MusicRow’s Next Big Thing.

Sansone is set to be honored as part of MusicRow’s Rising Women on the Row class of 2026 in an upcoming event, further solidifying her status as a rising leader in the music industry.
