If you missed the ESPYS last night, you missed one of the greatest displays of courage and conviction by an individual ever! ESPN’s Stuart Scott was honored with the JIMMY V Award for Perseverance at the 2014 ESPYS for his courage and fight against cancer. The tribute was very touching but his speech was truly empowering, inspirational, encouraging, motivational, and exuded what is truly means to be alive.
Stuart Scott is more than just a survivor, he taught people what it means to live last night. In that moment last night he possessed superhuman like qualities just by speaking his truth, which boiled down to being human in the face of his seven year battle with cancer. I personally honor you Mr.
