CRN Digital Talk Radio today announced that legendary radio personality Barry Farber, host of CRN’s daily “The Barry Farber Show”� is up for nomination into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
“Barry Farber is the dean of American talk show hosts, said Michael Horn, President and CEO of CRN Digital Talk Radio. � “He hosts the longest running talk show on radio today. � He is a founding father of talk radio, but Barry is still astounding contemporary audiences with his knowledge humor and prose.”�
Celebrating 50 years on the radio this September, Farber launched his radio career in New York in 1960 and began hosting a national talk show on the ABC Radio Network in 1990. � The National Association of Radio Talk Show Hosts named Farber 1991’s “Talk Show Host of the Year”�. � In 2002, Farber was listed by Talkers magazine as one of the top ten talk hosts of all time! � An accomplished author and columnist, Farber is a student of 26 languages.
