Man Indicted for Killing Girlfriend, Drowning Newborn

A man in Memphis, Tenn, invited his girlfriend to his home to meet his newborn daughter on his birthday. It was a deadly trap. He shot and killed his girlfriend and threw his newborn baby daughter in the Mississippi River.

The newborn daughter was two days old. The grand jury indicted the man named Brandon Isabelle on two counts of first-degree murder, kidnapping, aggravated child abuse, and neglect. He is currently being held without bond and has no previous criminal record.

The newborn, named Kennedy Hoyle, was never found in the river. On Feb 1, an abandoned car was found with a broken window. When police searched the car, they found the body of Danielle Hoyle, who had been shot to death.

The car seat for the baby was empty, and when authorities asked him where the baby was, he admitted that he had thrown the child in the Mississippi River. Authorities searched the freezing river for days and did not find the child.
