iHeartMedia Reveals 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards Winners

iHeartMedia To Reveal Winners Of The 2020 “iHeartRadio Music Awards” On-Air Across 840 iHeartRadio Stations And Social Platforms Nationwide Throughout Labor Day WeekendExclusive Weekend Long Radio and Social Media Special Will Reveal 50 Award Winners and Feature Acceptance Speeches from Artists Across Multiple Music Categories Including iHeartRadio Song Of The Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Best Duo /Group of the Year and More NEW YORK, N.Y. – August 24 2020 – iHeartMedia announced today that the winners of the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards will be revealed for the first time on-air throughout Labor Day weekend on iHeartRadio stations nationwide, and the iHeartRadio App, the all-in-one digital music, podcast, on demand and live-streaming radio service. Beginning Friday, September 4 at 5 pm local time through Monday, September 7 at 5 pm local time, the special event will unveil the winners in each category and feature acceptance speeches from this year’s biggest artists on-air and via iHeartMedia’s social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat.The annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is a star-studded music event celebrating the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2019. Given the new limitations on events during the pandemic, this year’s live event of the iHeartRadio Music Awards, originally scheduled to air from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sunday, March 29 on FOX, was cancelled.

The show is set to return to FOX in 2021.Since the Awards’ inception in 2013, the show has included live performances and appearances by superstar artists, such as Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Garth Brooks, Rihanna, Halsey, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Martin, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, Sam Smith, Madonna, Blake Shelton, Pharrell, Pitbull and many others.Nominees for the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards, were announced on January 8.
