NEWPORT, N.H. — Federal authorities in California have arrested a New Hampshire radio host wanted on on charges he produced and possessed child pornography.
WMUR reports that U.S. Marshals, joined by state and local authorities from Nevada and California, stopped Aaron Aldridge on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County, about 20 miles from Nevada. The WNTK radio host was driving his car with New Hampshire plates. The 42-year-old Aldridge disappeared from Newport, N.H., on April 13 with his 19-year-old daughter, who was later found abandoned at Walt Disney World. She’s now with family. Following his disappearance, pictures found in Aldridge’s home prompted police to get an arrest warrant. Police said the child pornography was in the form of printed pictures and videos on a computer disk. Authorities said they seized a computer and other evidence. Aldridge is originally from California, but has lived in New Hampshire for years.
