Oprah to open the phone lines for discussion on SIRIUS XM, inviting listeners across the country to call her and share their responses, thoughts, insights and questions

NEW YORK – February 9, 2010 – SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) and Harpo Radio today announced that Oprah Winfrey will host an exclusive live call-in show on SIRIUS XM’s Oprah Radio on Thursday, February 11 to discuss child molestation with millions of listeners across the country and what every family should know.

Oprah interviewed four admitted child molesters on a special report on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday, February 8.
Oprah will invite listeners across the country to speak one-on-one with her and share their responses, thoughts, insights, and questions about child molesters on this satellite radio special airing live Thursday, February 11 from 4:00 – 5:00 pm ET on Oprah Radio, XM channel 156 and SIRIUS channel 195 as part of “The Best of XM package.” Topics will include the targets and motivations of child molesters—and what parents can do to help protect their children.  Oprah will take calls for the entire hour. Listeners can call the Oprah Radio hotline at 866-OPRAH-XM (866-677-2496).

Additionally, SIRIUS XM’s Oprah Radio will rebroadcast the “The Oprah Winfrey Show – A Special Report: Oprah and a No-Holds-Barred Conversation with Child Molesters” in its entirety on February 9 at 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm ET. SIRIUS XM exclusively broadcasts new episodes of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” the morning after they air on television on Oprah Radio.
