IHEARTMEDIA DES MOINES NAMES TAYLOR J PROGRAM DIRECTOR FOR 107.5 KISS FM

iHeartMedia announced today that Taylor J has been named Program Director for 107.5 KISS FM, Des Moines’#1 Hit Music Station, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Des Moines has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than six stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Program Director, Taylor J will be responsible for generating compelling content, exciting promotions, and increased ratings and revenue. In addition, she will continue to host middays on 107.5 KISS FM. Taylor J will report to Jeff Cage, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines.

“We’re excited to elevate Taylor J to Program Director,” said Cage. “She’s a dedicated hard worker who has a true passion for radio and the listeners she connects with every day on 107.5 KISS FM.  Her stewardship of the station will help continue to grow our ratings and find more ways to connect with and support the Des Moines community.”

Taylor J joined 107.5 KISS FM in 2018 and most recently served as Assistant Program Director. In addition, she continues to serve as the midday on-air talent for the station.  Prior to arriving at iHeartMedia Des Moines in 2018, she spent 15 years in the St. Louis market, mainly with iHeartMedia St. Louis, where she held several roles including Program Director for 100.3 The Beat and Z107.7, Director of Marketing and Promotions, as well as an On-air personality for many years on both Z107.7 as well as Alternative and Rhythmic CHR stations in the market.  She began her career at WBBM-FM in Chicago and is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago.

“It’s an honor to program a legendary CHR station in the Midwest’s fastest-growing metro area,” said Taylor J. “I’m very excited to have the opportunity to grow the station at the pace the metro is growing and continue to evolve the relationships I’ve formed with our listeners throughout the past three years. A huge thanks to iHeartMedia Des Moines for the opportunity.”

iHeartMedia is the leading media outlet in the Des Moines market with multiple platforms, including its broadcast stations; live events; data; and its digital businesses and platforms, including mobile, social and its own iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, podcasting and live streaming radio service – with 3 billion app downloads and more than 150 million registered users.
