Prince’s estate is turning the 10th anniversary of his passing into a five-day rights-and-legacy showcase, with the 2026 Prince Celebration set for June 3 through 7 at Paisley Park and around downtown Minneapolis. For publishers, songwriters, artists, and estate stakeholders, the event is a reminder that Prince’s catalog, archive, and community impact continue to drive fan interest and public programming a decade later.
The Revolution and New Power Generation reunite
Leading the lineup is a reunion of Prince’s bands The Revolution and The New Power Generation, with members Bobby Z, Lisa Coleman, Morris Hayes, Tony M, Levi Seacer, Sonny T, Queen Cora Coleman, Cassandra O’Neal, Greg Boyer, Mike Phillips, Kenni Holmen, Liv Warfield, Ashley Tamar and The Twins.

The reunion performance is scheduled for June 5 at The Armory, alongside performances by Morris Day, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, Bilal, Kat Graham, Sounds of Blackness and more.
Chaka Khan, Bootsy Collins and special guest panels
Other confirmed acts include Chaka Khan, Morris Day, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, Bilal, Kat Graham and Sounds of Blackness. Khan will perform with DJ Lenka Paris on June 3 at First Avenue.
Bootsy Collins, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are also set to appear as special guests on discussion panels throughout the festival. The program includes panels titled Women of Prince’s Musical Legacy, Conversation with Bootsy Collins, Next 10 Years – Vault & Future Plans, and Reflections & Memories of Prince with Morris Day, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Paisley Park, downtown Minneapolis and unreleased material
The five-day celebration will include tours and screenings at Paisley Park, a free all-ages block party at the Prince Mural in downtown Minneapolis, a rooftop late-night party, and a Sunday brunch and gospel concert in the courtyard and outdoors.
The event will also feature presentations of unreleased Prince music and rare archival concert content, along with a spotlight on Prince’s philanthropic endeavors. A previously unreleased recording, “With This Tear,” was recently unveiled by Prince’s estate.
L. Londell McMillan, Prince’s former manager, said in a press release that this year’s Celebration honors Prince’s musical genius, spirit, humanity, and love, and that the gathering is intended to create space for community, healing, joy, and reflection.
What to watch next: the full Prince Celebration will run June 3 through 7, with additional event details and tickets available through the festival’s website.
