A tragic incident occurred when a 2-year-old boy named Taylen Mosley was found dead in the mouth of an alligator, leading to the arrest of his father, Thomas Mosley. The father was also charged with the murder of Pashun Jeffrey, Taylen’s mother, after celebrating his birthday at her apartment. According to police reports, Jeffrey and Taylen were last seen alive when the last of Jeffrey’s family members left her alone with Mosley.
Mosley was unaccounted for until 9:03 p.m. when he showed up at his mother’s house with injuries consistent with a knife attack. Jeffrey’s body was discovered with over 100 stab wounds, and investigators found a bloody fingerprint on a bottle of cleaning solution that matched Mosley’s.
