Judge Orders Seizure of Funds from Ex-Mayor Kilpatrick

Judge has ordered the seizure of money from Kilpatrick and his wife

Former Detroit Mayor Kwami Kilpatrick and his wife were in the process of a crowdfunding campaign in order to buy a home in Florida. A federal judge intervened and ordered the seizure of the funds since Kilpatrick still owes more than $193,000 in restitution. Both their Plumfund and Paypal accounts were seized.
