Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter have turned their latest collaboration into a sleek visual statement, releasing the glossy new video for “Bring Your Love” at a moment when the song is already tied to a major album rollout. For publishers, songwriters and rights holders, the release keeps the track in the conversation well beyond its first live premiere and extends attention around Madonna’s upcoming project.
From Coachella surprise to official release
“Bring Your Love” was first heard during Madonna’s surprise appearance at Carpenter’s headline Coachella set in April. The song is the second track to be released from Madonna’s 15th studio album, Confessions II, which is due for release on July 3.
The official video draws from footage from Confessions II – The Film, a 14-minute project that premiered at the Tribeca Festival earlier this month. In the clip, Madonna and Carpenter perform in a glossy, retro-future nightclub setting, with topless male dancers and dramatic swooping camera work.
A visual built for replay value
The two singers also show off their acrobatic skills in the video, including scenes where they fly through the air toward the end. Weapons and Ozark star Julia Garner makes a cameo appearance.
The full-length Confessions II film also includes appearances by Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard E. Grant, Shygirl, Arca, Honey Dijon, Cole Palmer and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon.
Madonna keeps the rollout moving
Confessions II will be Madonna’s first record since Madame X, which arrived in 2019, and it reunites her with Confessions producer Stuart Price. Madonna said their manifesto was: “We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies,” and added: “To rave is an art.”
She was also recently confirmed as one of the co-headliners for the first ever FIFA World Cup halftime show, alongside Shakira and BTS. She has also urged fans to “put your fucking phones down and connect” at live shows.
What to watch next: the release of Confessions II on July 3, along with any further rollout tied to Confessions II – The Film and Madonna’s live plans, including the FIFA World Cup halftime show.
