The blue carpet dazzled with a vibrant display of fashion, from captivating hair looks to chic and sophisticated ensembles. A star-studded list of performers and fashion icons included celebrities like Lil Mo’, Tweet, Queen Naija, Robin Thicke, Kash Doll, LaTavia Roberson, and more who added their own touch of elegance to the eventThe evening was a celebration of music legends and their incredible contributions to the American music landscape. Jeffrey Osborne received the prestigious Legends Award, while Evelyn “Champagne” King was honored as the R&B Music Icon and gospel trailblazers The Hawkins Family received the Gospel Music Icon. The talented group SWVwas recognized as the Urban Music Icon, and the groundbreaking Missy Elliott was rightfully crowned the Music Innovator Icon.
