On Saturday, May 11th, The Shawn Carter Foundation hosted a special pre-Mother’s Day event “Celebrating Mothers, Our First Educators” in honor of Mother’s Day, and with proceeds supporting JAY Z’s Shawn Carter Foundation. The event was held at The 40/40 Club on 6 West 25th St. Music was provided by DJ First Choice– NYC’s favorite new DJ and official mix DJ for Power 105.1.
