The Man Known to the World as The Ultimate Warrior Dies

Radio Facts is sad to report the passing of a World Wrestling Entertainment icon, The Ultimate Warrior, who later changed his name to Warrior. TMZ initially reported that James Brian Hellwig collapsed outside an Arizona hotel at 5:50 PM on April 8th, while walking to his car with his wife. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

James Brian Hellwig’s death comes only three days after The Ultimate Warrior was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and just one day after Hellwig made an appearance on WWE’s “Raw,” his first appearance on the show since 1996. The was 54 years old when he passed.

We would like to send our condolences to his family, friends, and fans around the world.
