I was talking to a programmer the other day and I asked him what else urban radio people can do if they lose their jobs. He told me he has seen several become spokespersons for hospitals, police departments and other professions. I then thought, that is the one thing that we all have in common, well at least we USED to… EXCELLENT communication skills. Some of today’s urban radio announcers, however can’t even enunciate the word “enunciate” laugh. What are some of the other jobs you have seen urban radio people take on.
