Downtown’s Board of Directors Adds New Members

Downtown Music Holdings (Downtown℠), the leading music services provider to the global music industry, has announced the appointments of Alison Moore, CEO of Comic Relief USA, and Kelli Turner, CFO of Sun Capital Partners, to its Board of Directors.

Moore and Turner bring a broad range of leadership and operational experience in media, technology and entertainment as well as long and storied track records as champions for equity, innovation and social impact.

Prior to joining Comic Relief, Moore was the Chief Business Officer, Beauty Collection at Conde Nast overseeing the Glamour and Allure brands. She was previously Chief Revenue Officer at Soundcloud and before that held multiple GM and executive level positions working across digital products, strategy and brand development at NBC Universal, DailyCandy and HBO.

Moore began her career at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta.  Alison is also on the Board of Directors for TRACE, the top global media & digital platform for Afro-Urban cultures & youth empowerment. Alison is an Advisor to several early-stage digital start-ups, and is a member of Chief, the network of senior women leaders. 

Prior to joining Sun Capital, Turner was President and Chief Operating Officer at SESAC, Inc., a music rights licensing company. She was previously President and Chief Financial Officer of RSL Management Corporation and before that Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc.

Turner joined Martha Stewart from Time Warner Inc., where she held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations in the Office of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, she served as Senior Vice President, Business Development for New Line Cinema after having served as Time Warner Inc.’s Vice President, Investor Relations.

Turner received her undergraduate business degree and her law degree from the University of Michigan and started her career as an investment banker with roles at Citigroup and Allen & Company.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors of DoubleVerify, a leading software platform for digital media measurement and analytics that is publicly-traded on the NYSE.
