Released earlier this spring the Tomboy EP, which was produced by Grammy-Award winning songwriter/producer team The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars, Cardi B) includes Destiny’s breakout hit, title track “Tomboy,” which has been streamed nearly 10 million times worldwide since release. It received rave reviews from the likes of Billboard, who included the track on their “20 Cool Pop Songs for Your Summer Playlist” list describing “Destiny Rogers marries a gift for personal storytelling with a sumptuous percussion palette on [‘Tomboy’].” NYLON also declares the whole EP as “a killer debut” and Refinery29 shares Destiny has a “hazy, raw aesthetic…[and] addicting vocals,” while DJ Booth proclaims “Tomboy…is a triumph in confidence and identity.”
Listen to “Lo Lo,” catch Destiny on tour and keep an eye out for more from the rising star coming soon.
