iHeartMedia has named Kayla Thomas as the new night host on New York’s Z100.

She will take over the 6–10 p.m. slot beginning July 27 on the CHR station.

Thomas moves from Los Angeles, where she has been hosting late nights on 102.7 KIIS-FM since 2022. Her background also includes hosting PopCrush Nights, which expanded to more than 50 affiliates, and national event work including Ultra Music Festival. She has also conducted interviews with major artists including Adele, BTS, Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus and Gwen Stefani.

She began her career as an intern in Roanoke, Virginia, and has since built a national profile across radio and digital platforms.

The move places Thomas in one of the most visible CHR night slots in the country as Z100 continues to position its on-air lineup with nationally recognized talent.
