How times have changed. This video from 1979 or 80 is of Kool and the Gang performing their smash hit “Ladies Night” at the Music Awards. Look at how Michael Jackson, Bernadette Peters, Dionne Warwick, and Peaches and Herb could barely contain themselves from getting up and dancing. This is certainly VERY different from the music award shows we see today. If a star came out just twerking in those days they would be been banned and blackballed for life (lol).
