A former executive producer of The Paul and Young Ron Show, a morning radio show, was arrested for allegedly molesting a boy over the span of two years, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies on Monday arrested Steven Brancik, who is also known professionally as “Branzig,” at BSO headquarters on four counts of molesting a victim between 12 and 16 years old by an offender 18 or older, and one count of lewd or lascivious exhibition, according to jail records.
Brancik, 42, of Hollywood, FL, is accused of fondling the boy on four occasions, the report said. He has since been released from the Broward Main Jail on $43,500 bond. Brancik’s attorney, Bruce Lehr, said Wednesday that he would file “not guilty” pleas on all of the charges. The alleged incidents occurred at the boy’s Deerfield Beach home and at Brancik’s home, and started when the boy was 12, according to the report. In one instance, Brancik is accused of fondling the boy in a hot tub at the child’s home. About five months ago, he allegedly fondled the boy, now 14, and exposed himself. He was fired by Clear Channel, according to WFOR-CBS4. Neither Clear Channel officials at the radio show’s home office in Miramar nor Brancik could be reached for comment Wednesday. [source]
