Street takeovers are becoming very popular around the country and Chicago is no different. A street takeover and drag race in Chicago this past weekend ended with people fighting with police and a woman standing on a sidewalk being killed after she was hit by a car. A 27-year-old man was speeding and changed lanes crashing into another car that crashed into a woman. The city can impound cars involved in drag racing but it has not stopped people from doing it.
