Radio Facts is sad to report that popular radio DC Radio DJ Tony Redz has DiedPhoto Credit: INSTAGRAFriends say the popular WPGC radio jock died of a heart attack. His former co-worker Sunni expressed that her heart is shattered over the news. WPGC posted on their website DMV – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our WPGC family member Antonio “Tony Redz aka Mr. 24/7” Lovett.Tony Redz was with the WPGC family for almost 20 years.

He originally joined WPGC in 2000 on the street team. Tony left for a brief stint with the competition, but came back as his heart was always with WPGC 95.5! He returned as a part-time on-air jock, promoted to full-time evening jock and held that position until his departure last year.

Redz worked tirelessly earning him teh nickname “Mr. 24/7″https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4Rqsn4595whttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n62EWBoq8BoGot a call from DJ Flexx that shattered my heart. Can’t believe our former colleague Tony Redz has passed away. Way too young ??Prayers to his family.
