The second shooting occurred shortly after the first, near the I-94 southbound exit to Stony Island. According to a witness, this incident was a result of road rage involving a tow truck. The witness reported that a brick on the roadway sparked the confrontation. The SUV’s driver, believing the tow truck had thrown the brick, began shooting, and the tow truck driver returned fire. This altercation led to the fatality reported by the Illinois State Police.
