Karan Aujla’s Net Worth Hits $10 Million

The Punjabi music scene just witnessed another rise, and this time, Karan Aujla’s net worth hit $10 million. From tough beginnings to chart-topping hits, his journey is one for the books.

Karan Aujla is a prominent Indian singer-songwriter and rapper making waves in the Punjabi music industry while based in Canada. With a net worth estimated at $10 million, Aujla has quickly climbed the ranks since he began his career in music. His discography includes popular albums like “Bacthafucup,” “Making Memories,” and “P-Pop Culture,” showcasing his versatility and talent.

Born Jaskaran Singh Aujla on January 18, 1997, in Ghurala, Punjab, India, Aujla faced significant challenges early in life. After losing both parents by the age of 14, he was raised by his sisters and uncle. In 2014, he moved to Canada and settled in Vancouver, where he attended Burnaby South Secondary School. To support himself, Aujla worked part-time as a longshoreman.

Aujla began his music career as a songwriter in 2014, earning his first credit on Jassi Gill’s “Range.” He went on to write for several artists, honing his craft before releasing his first single as a lead artist, “Property of Punjab,” in 2016. His subsequent singles, including “Shit Talk,” “6 Bande,” and “Unity,” helped establish his presence in the industry.

Aujla’s breakout moment came in 2018 with the hit single “Don’t Worry,” featuring Gurlez Akhtar. This track not only charted on the UK Asian chart but also went viral, garnering over 100 million views on YouTube. The success of this song propelled him to new heights, leading to more hit tracks like “Rim vs Jhanjhar,” “No Need,” and “Chitta Kurta.” In 2019, he lent his voice to the title track of the action film “Sikander 2,” further showcasing his talents.

His popularity soared in the early 2020s, with the single “Jhanjar” breaking records on YouTube. Aujla continued to release successful songs, including “Red Eyes,” which debuted at number eight on the UK Asian chart. His 2020 single “Kya Baat Aa” solidified his standing in the Indian music scene. He then released his debut studio album “Bacthafucup” in September 2021, which featured the hit “Chu Gon Do?” and reached number 19 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart.

In 2022, Aujla released his first EP, “Way Ahead,” followed by another EP, “Four You,” and his second studio album, “Making Memories,” both produced in collaboration with Canadian producer Ikky. “Making Memories” peaked at number five on the Canadian Albums chart, marking a significant achievement in his career. Aujla’s most recent projects include the album “Street Dreams,” a collaboration with Mumbai rapper Divine, and the EP “Four Me,” along with successful singles like “Tauba Tauba” and “Wavy.”Aujla’s third album, “P-Pop Culture,” released in 2025, marked a new peak in his career, debuting at number three on the Canadian Albums chart and hitting number one on Spotify in India and Pakistan. Notably, singles from this album, such as “MF Gabhru!” and “For a Reason,” achieved Gold certification from Music Canada.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Aujla has faced some controversy due to lyrics that have drawn criticism in India. Complaints have been filed against him for promoting violence and drugs in his music. In late 2024, a police complaint was lodged against him ahead of a performance in Chandigarh, urging him to avoid certain tracks.

Beyond music, Aujla has shown entrepreneurial spirit; he launched his own clothing brand, Hukam, in late 2021 and produced a short film as part of Apple Music’s “Up Next” program in 2024. On the personal front, Aujla tied the knot with his girlfriend, Palak, in 2023, marking another milestone in his life.
