Yesterday on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live hosted by Nick Lachey, comedian, actor, film producer, writer and rapper Mike Epps stopped by to talk about playing Richard Pryor and working with Lee Daniels on the Richard Pryor biopic. Epps told Nick: “You’ve got to understand the man (Pryor). You’ve got to understand what he came from, what he did in the comedy business and there’s really no way to prepare.
You have to embody it… and I think I got picked to play that part because my life is very parallel to Richard Pryor’s.
