STATION TO TAKE $100 SONG REQUEST DONATIONS ALL WEEK
New York, NY (January 19th, 2010) “� 101.9 RXP (WRXP) “The New York Rock Experience”� announced that it will be joining in the haiti recovery efforts by launching Requests for Relief, which is airing now through Friday.
Every hour from 6AM until Midnight listeners have the chance to call the 101.9 RXP studio at 1-800-423-1019 and make a $100 donation. � Once the donation has been made RXP will play the listener’s song request on the air!
Requests for Relief launched last Friday during The Rock Show with Matt Pinfield and Leslie Fram and raised over $1,200 in one hour.
All proceeds from Requests for Relief will benefit The Salvation Army’s haiti Relief efforts. � RXP is also encouraging any listeners who cannot make a $100 contribution to donate whatever they can by calling The Salvation Army or visiting them online.
