Larry Myers Jr. Dies: Buttermilk Biscuits Star

Larry Myers Jr., known as “Mr. Buttermilk Biscuits” from TLC’s “My 600-Lb. Life,” has passed away in Texas.

According to a statement from family spokesperson Sonya Hines-Hall, Larry suffered a heart attack at his Houston home last week while grieving the loss of a friend.

The news of Larry’s passing was shared by his relatives on social media, who also created a GoFundMe page to help cover his funeral expenses. They fondly remembered Larry as a gifted gospel singer who always showed love and kindness to everyone he encountered, despite his ongoing struggle with weight. In January 2022, Larry’s episode aired on TLC’s show, where he was bedbound and weighed a staggering 940 pounds.

Though he had previously undergone weight-loss surgery, he experienced a significant weight gain of 400 pounds, which led to his appearance on “My 600-Lb. Life.”
