KUDOS to these amazing Black Women in Radio for paving the way… It’s always great to see urban radio announcers get the rare recognition for our contributions.
On March 11,2016 the Georgia State Capitol Honored trailblazing black women in Atlanta radio: Carol Blackmon- First female Radio Personality @ 107.5, Former Personality V103, Michele Williams-First Female Radio Peronality@104.1, Sylvia (James) Mcafee-Former Radio Personality @104.1 & 107.5,  Regina Allen Slaughter-Former Program Director @1480 WYZE, Myrna Taylor Ransom-First Female Personality@V-103.  Radio personality Dee Hill presented the certificates and Radio Facts congratulates these great women.
