Da Brat said it is sad to report that actress Heche, from the movies Volcano, 13 Minutes, and John Q, was removed from life support on Sunday after organ recipient matches were found for the actress. Heche suffered a brain injury after crashing her car into a Los Angeles home last week.
She was declared brain dead on Friday but remained on life support and anticipation of donating her organs. Many people paid tribute to the talented movie star over the weekend following the news of her death, said Da Brat. Her son said in a statement to People: “My brother Atlas and I lost our mom after six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings.
I’m left with a deep wordless sadness. Hopefully, my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.”
Da Brat said Heche was dating Ellen DeGeneres before she got married. She noted that it was so sad what happened to Heche.
The mother had been in so many movies. The morning show host explained the video where they put Heche into a body bag after the crash and pronounced her dead. Heche then unzipped the body bag.
