    The Minority Media, DC’s premier Minority and Telecommunications Council (MMTC) will convene nation’s noted leaders and policymakers in broadband policy and adoption, telecommunications, and to “Bridge The Digital Divide” at its Second Annual Broadband & Social Summit.The Minority Media and Telecommunications Council (MMTC) created the Broadband and Social Justice (BBSJ) Summit to serve as a forum around broadband and telecom inequities, begin action on proposed policy, and to give a voice to the MMTC Broadband & Social Justice . MMTC launched the first Broadband and Social Justice Summit in January of 2010. This year?s Summit will feature FCC Commissioners Michael Copps, Meredith Baker, and Robert McDowell, Senior Advisor Philip Weiser, Congressman Cliff Stearns, NTIA Deputy Administrator Anna Gomez, and Kristal High of Politic365, presenting such workshops as “The Obama Administration?s Broadband Policy Priorities” and “Civic Engagement And Social Justice In The Wake Of The 2010 Election,” in addition to networking with participants during the annual Social Justice Reception. The Summit will conclude with a three hour Bloggers Workshop on Capitol Hill.The Broadband and Social Justice Summit is open to all.
