Sophia Sansone Ascends to Leadership at Make Wake Artists

Sophia Sansone has quickly established herself as a prominent figure in Nashville’s music scene, now serving as Managing Partner at Make Wake Artists. Joining the company in 2017 as an assistant to founder Chris Kappy, Sansone has demonstrated exceptional strategic acumen and a commitment to artist development, significantly contributing to the growth of high-profile clients.

As a key member of Luke Combs’ management team, Sansone has been instrumental in steering his career through a transformative period in modern country music. Her role expanded in 2025 when she began managing Grammy Award-winning group The Band Perry, focusing on their return to the country music landscape while honoring their legacy.

A Vanderbilt University graduate, Sansone attributes her leadership style to her upbringing in a large family, which fostered her collaborative approach and adaptability. Her contributions to the industry have not gone unnoticed, earning her multiple accolades including Billboard’s Women in Music and Variety’s Hitmakers.

Sansone will be recognized as part of MusicRow’s Rising Women on the Row class of 2026 at an event on March 3. This honor reflects her impact on the industry and her potential for future leadership.
