RF Black History Question of the Day

In honor of black history we will pose a question every day for the month of February.

1. Who was the first black player in the National Basketball Association?

ANSWER: EARL LLOYD is a retired American basketball player. He was the first African American to play in the National Basketball Association, in the 1950–51 NBA season. Three other African Americans played in the same season: Chuck Cooper, Nathaniel Clifton, and Hank DeZonie.
