NABOB PRESENTS 33rd ANNUAL FALL BROADCAST MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) will hold its 33rd Annual Fall Broadcast Management Conference beginning Thursday, September 24 through Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Madison Loews Hotel, 15th & M Streets, NW, Washington, D.C.

The theme of this year’s NABOB fall conference, “The Financial Meltdown In Broadcasting – What Are The Government And Industry Responses?”

will be addressed through an all-day forum on the ‘Power of Urban Radio’ and through Financial and Washington Regulatory Update panels. Station owners, major advertisers and agencies, FCC and Congressional representatives and other broadcast experts will converge to discuss the current status of urban radio. Commissioner Robert McDowell of the Federal Communications Commission will lead of the conference as the keynote speaker on Thursday, September 24 at 1:30 p.m. Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, the newest member of the Federal Communications Commission, will be the guest luncheon speaker on Friday, September 26 at 12:30 p.m.

NABOB is a non-profit corporation and the only trade organization representing the interests of African-American owners of radio and television stations across the United States.
