A community memorial service for Michael Band y, co-host of Band y and Bailey in the Morning, which airs on WLXX 92.9 The Bear, has been scheduled for 5 p.m. Dec. 29 at Austin City Saloon on Woodhill Drive. Mr.
Band y died Saturday in the hospice unit at St. Joseph Hospital. He was 37.
Hal Hofman, market manager for Cumulus Broadcasting, said Mr. Band y’s family has released the cause of death as liver and kidney failure. The funeral for Mr.
Band y, a native of Cookeville, Tenn., is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dyer Funeral Home in Cookeville. Burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery.
