Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ Achieves Historic Milestone on Spotify

BTS member Jungkook’s debut solo single, “Seven,” continues to showcase remarkable longevity on the global music charts. As of February 6-12, the track secured the 102nd position on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Song Global” chart, maintaining an impressive streaming rate of over 11.36 million times per week since its release in 2023.

Notably, “Seven” has now spent 135 consecutive weeks on the chart, marking a record for Asian solo artists. The song has also amassed over 2.79 billion streams on Spotify, positioning it as one of the most-streamed tracks by an Asian solo artist.

In conjunction with this achievement, Jungkook’s first solo album, “GOLDEN,” also ranked 102nd on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Album Global” chart during the same period. The album has now maintained a presence on the charts for 119 consecutive weeks, setting a new benchmark for Asian solo artists.

With cumulative streams surpassing 6.7 billion, “GOLDEN” holds the record for the highest streaming total of any regular album by an Asian singer. Collectively, Jungkook’s Spotify account has reached a total of 10.4 billion streams, a significant milestone for an Asian artist and the first K-pop soloist to achieve such numbers in a relatively short timeframe.
