“BACK2DATRAP” TOUR KICKS OFF ON OCTOBER 13 EUROPEAN LEG TICKETS ON SALE SEPTEMBER 1Today, multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and model Lancey Foux announces his new mixtape, BACK2DATRAP, will be released on September 8. Pre-order the mixtape here. Of today’s announcement, Lancey shared, “I’m so excited for my fans to hear my new mixtape. I made this for them as a gift to close out summer, bringing it back to my roots with the type of tracks that made them fans so long ago.”The mixtape announcement follows the release of his single, “Mmm Hmm” featuring Sexxy Red, from last month.

The single was officially released following Lancey’s show stopping performance at the Wireless Festival where he surprised fans by bringing Sexxy Red on stage with him and teasing the new song. The track then became a viral hit on TikTok after Sexxy Red’s TikTok leaked the audio from the song.
Watch the official video HERE, which also premiered on The Fader, read the story HERE. The new mixtape announcement also follows Lancey’s sixth studio album, LIFE IN HELL, from last fall. His latest album was a brutally honest take that explores the dark side of modern day living.
Upon release the album was met with critical acclaim by the likes of Complex and HYPEBEAST, amongst others. His standout track,”LANCEY OR LANCEY”, has been streamed and viewed over 8 million times worldwide and the audio has been used on TikTok nearly a million times with its current trend. In addition to the mixtape announcement, Lancey also shared he will add a European leg to his upcoming “BACK2DATRAP” tour.
The UK and European leg of the tour will kick off on October 1 in Glasgow and make stops in Dublin, London, and Italy before wrapping in Tbilisi on December 2. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning of September 1 at 10am local time. The European dates follow an already announced North American leg, which includes a stop at New York’s iconic Irving Plaza. See here for the full ticketing information.
The tour announcement comes as Lancey recently wrapped his show stopping Hong Kong tour dates and a festival run which included a stop at Rolling Loud Miami.
