Kimora Lee Simmons: 14,327 Times is ENOUGH

 border=

Kimora Lee Simmons has accomplished a LOT and it certainly didn’t hurt that she was married to Russell, something I notice she rarely mentions. Still, we give her a HUGE pat on the back… but in EVERY interview and EVERY realty show and EVERY appearance does she have to KEEP SAYING “I’m a mother and a businesswoman” at least 19 times PER appearance? It’s like she really thinks that’s an accomplishment with her background and resources? There are Black women all over the country who did not have modeling careers and who did not marry the virtual pioneer of the hip-hop industry. They have raised kids alone with NO money and NO help. They have had to be the mother, father, businesswoman, banker, referee, cheering squad, counselor, shoulder, bodyguard, miracle worker, chauffer, cook, hostess, nurse, party organizer, maid and a LOT more and they didn’t have people to hire or call…. they did it themselves! My mother was one of those women. Women like HER are to be applauded. Congrats on your corporation and all your business ventures but so what? (laugh) Kim was on The Big Idea and almost as soon as she hit the stage she said “I’m a mother and a businesswoman.” The remote was being worked overtime for something else to watch. I’m confused…
