MNRK Music Group announces the promotions of Tasha Stoute to Sr. Director, Urban Publicity and Vinny Geonnetti to Director, Artist Management, A&R, Publishing. In addition, the company has hired JY Williams as Director, A&R. All changes are effective immediately.



Tasha Stoute is promoted to Sr. Director, Urban Publicity. She joined the publicity department in 2018 and has been instrumental in the overall success of the label’s urban artists.
With this promotion, Stoute will continue creating and implementing campaigns for the urban division’s wide variety of artists and work closely with the label’s marketing and sales teams. She is based in New York and reports to MNRK’s VP of Media Relations, Giovanna Melchiorre.
Vinny Geonnetti is upped to Director, Artist Management, A&R, Publishing from Coordinator, A&R and Synch. In this expanded role, Geonnetti participates in the strategy and development of new and established artists for the Music Publishing team, including managing sessions, formulating opportunities, and pairing writers and potential collaborators. He reports to Todd Roberts, MRNK’s VP of A&R Music Publishing, and is based in Los Angeles.
JY Williams joins the company as Director of A&R. He has previously worked with artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Fetty Wap, Joe Budden, Jim Jones, Killer Mike, and producers Bink, Buckwild, Nard, and B, among others.
He founded the company Lifted Lights in 2016, and created tours and shows for Lil Uzi Vert, A Boogie with da Hoodie, Gucci Mane, PNB Rock, Dave East, and Rich The Kid. He also managed and consulted for several artists signed to major labels, and created VisionPlay Entertainment, a management and production company.
Williams is based in New York and reports to Ebrahim “Abe” Rasheed, VP of A&R and Artist Development.
