The rapper formerly knowns as Kanye West is getting support at a Jacksonville hip-hop station, 93.3 The Beat, where listeners want to continue to hear his music citing that they want to support Ye as a Black man. Based on the people who called the radio station, they agree they don’t like or even agree with what Ye has said, but they don’t want to turn their back on Ye as a Black man either. Radio personality DJ T-Roy states people agree he needs mental health, but when it comes to his music, people still want to hear it.

T-Roy states a majority of listeners want to keep hearing his music.
